A New 14-week Online Learning Course:
The Guiding Vision for This Course
All aspects of the online course are designed to help you to build capacity for greater courage, creativity, and positive engagement in the ever-changing and uncertain landscape of our times. Capacity-building is a journey toward wholeness with two intertwined pathways.
- The first pathway is an inner journey to discover your authentic self and to intentionally incorporate it into your way of being. It’s what we call becoming integrated and whole.
- The second pathway is a more outward facing journey. With your authentic self as your foundation, you can more confidently share your gifts and talents and make your unique contribution in a variety of creative and positive ways.
These journeys are not separate, but instead they build upon one another. They allow you to see yourself, other people, and the world in new ways, and to act on those insights. The “Keys to Inner Transformation” program will help guide and connect you to more authentic ways for you to “show up” in your life both personally and professionally.
Through enhanced self-awareness, creativity, and joyful service, you will find that you can meet life’s challenges and opportunities with equanimity, confidence, and mastery. And, as you connect with your authentic self and grow into your full potential, you will become a guiding light to others along their paths. In your work life you will be more effective and productive. In your personal life you will be healthier and live more whole-heartedly.
There are many paths to transformational change and healing — some focus more on the physical, some on attitudinal healing, and others on emotional healing. A special feature of the Cayce material is the emphasis on all the levels of transformational change and how they can be integrated. The “Keys to Inner Transformation” program is rooted in this truth, and it provides the integration of the modern science of well-being with the ancient wisdom of holistic living. This complementary and powerful blend of teachings and practices will deepen your understanding and experience of your cognitive abilities for both analytical reasoning and intuitive insight. They will support you to make a connection to courage, vitality, increased will, and emotional intelligence.
The course is structured around seven principles – or “keys” – for inner transformation, all of which serve to promote health and healing personally – and bring greater clarity about one’s own role in building health and healing for the world at-large. We will conduct the 14-week program as a virtual learning community, with a Sunday afternoon two-hour Zoom meeting every two weeks to kick-off a new Module, plus online learning materials to be used for the following 13 days with whatever timing works best for you. (If you need to miss a Sunday video meeting of the learning community, you will be able to access it later as archived material.)
What are the 7 Keys?
Key #2: Identifying and acting upon a Spiritual Ideal sets in motion transformational forces.
Key #3: Meditation and Mindful Living are healing medicines for the mind and body and are indispensable practices for inner transformation and healing.
Key #4: Self-care which promotes well-being is an inherently spiritual practice.
Key #6: The body’s intelligence is a reliable guide and support to healing at every level.
Key #7: Moving from “willfulness” to “willingness” promotes a healthy will-force that transforms us.
Who is likely to benefit from “Keys to Inner Transformation”?
We invite you and other participants into a loving, supportive learning community this Fall of like-minded people. There are many benefits to participating in “Keys to Inner Transformation,” and you may “see” such benefits for yourself in one or more of the following categories.
You are going through a transition in your life now. Transitions – as difficult and disturbing as they can sometimes be – can potentially be an opening to a new and healthier way of being. However, it takes wisdom and support to navigate a transition skillfully. Sometimes the transition involves the challenge to let go of the past and courageously open to what might come next. Other times the transition calls you to a new understanding and commitment to your values and Ideals. At other times, a transition can be something such as starting a new career, entering into marriage or parenthood, or moving to a new home.
You are struggling with some type of “dis-ease.” It may manifest in one or more ways. It can show up as a physical health problem, an attitudinal difficulty, an emotional woundedness and feeling of being “stuck,” or even a spiritual crisis.
You feel ready for “change” in your life, but you want something more profound than merely self-improvement change – which is simply rearranging and adjusting the familiar parts of who you are. You are ready for transformational change – which is opening to a broader way of knowing and experiencing yourself and your place in the world with others. You are ready to add a dimension, so to speak, which comes from the engagement of your Spiritual ideal and all the connections of body, attitudes and emotions that move your life and your health toward Oneness.
You are at a time for constructive reflection about your life – a purposeful pause to reassess and recalibrate what comes next for you. This can manifest as the need to find answers to some deep questions. It can manifest as a call to step back from your many life experiences and connect to an inner wisdom that integrates and reveals a way forward to enhanced health and healing. This kind of pause and reflection can foster in you more assurance that you are productively using your gifts and talents to contribute to the well-being of the world.
