With Mary Elizabeth Lynch and Michele Tryon
The child you were decades ago is still very much alive in you – with its gifts and its wounds. Part of our work as an adult is to reclaim the child’s sensitivities and wonder of life. It is also our responsibility as an adult to heal the traumas and injuries that our inner child experienced – and still experiences.
This four-day course builds on the PTCI’s basic cohort program and supports your continued journey toward wholeness. The course will provide you with conceptual information and theories about the importance of working constructively with family patterns that have influenced the energies of your inner child. You will be guided through somatic and experiential learning exercises that help you to directly engage the wounds and wonder of the child within. You will gain insight about how to support and care for your inner child energies. And you will gain insights and inspiration to tap into and activate your inner child’s unlimited potential for awe, wonder and creativity.
The learning outcomes of the course include helping you to:
- Bridge the emotional and mental gaps between your innocent, vulnerable child and your experienced, wise adult.
- Create a direct and healing relationship with the child that still lives in you.
- Open your heart to experiencing the wonder of each moment and the purposefulness of your life.
You will gain a new perspective of the events of your childhood, and you will experience your capacity to heal and transform through a new relationship to your inner child.
