PTCI offers an array of ways to get started with our educational offerings. Whereas many people choose to begin with one of our small-group, three-day Basic courses, there is also the option of taking an Introductory level program that is usually briefer and may have less intensity in self-exploration.
For example, if you don’t find a convenient way to come to the location of a Basic course, we offer flexible access to PTCI programming via our E-course offerings. These learning communities – usually made up of 8 to 20 participants – extend over a four-week period. Within the designated four-week time frame, these E-courses allow you to choose the days and times that work best for you to work on the Internet-based course assignments and post comments about your experiences and insights.
PTCI also offers one-day and half-day workshops that provide a sampling of our approach to personal growth and development. These shorter events are usually a combination of brief presentations about theory, interspersed with individual and small group application exercises. Many of these short introductory programs are offered in collaboration with like-minded organizations.
Several retreat-format programs also fall into the category of Introductory events. Most of these programs are multiple days, just like our Basic courses, but they are a gentler way of getting started with PTCI work. This type of Introductory programming includes the Wellness Retreat, as well as the annual Women’s Retreat.
